Note: Well our list mum Janey pretty much challenged me to get this done by Jun 11th. I did and sent it to her on June 11th a little after 11:30. Enjoy
Leonard sat at his desk, musing. A small smile crossed his face as tapped the tip of his stylus against his teeth. Smiling, he leaned forward and began to write.
"- a long time. I remember when we were younger how I'd always say I'd a be a doctor and you'd reply that all you wanted to do is build cars. Now look at us. I'm a doctor and you're building spaceships. I also once said, I'd never marry, never settle down. The ideas of a child.
You asked if it was true, that I was marrying someone, yeah it is. His name is Spock and he's Vulcan. Personally as far as I'm concerned, I'm already married but we forgot to do some customs and so there we go. Now as to where I met him, here on the enterprise... how we got together, now that another story.
Started about 3 years ago when Spock started to...

"So, if I move this piece here that changes the configuration and blocks you from winning, right?
"Correct Leonard." Spock watches as McCoy moved his piece. "However it leaves you open to now be flanked... remember that just because an opportunity to block an opponent from securing the prize appears, does not mean to leave your territory unguarded."
"I hate this game." McCoy leaned down to study the board.
Spock smiled slightly as his nostrils flared, taking in the subtly sweet scent that always hung about the doctor.

McCoy stood at the side of the bed whispering fiercely at the unconscious occupant. "Damned fool! It wasn't worth it. If you die... I... ::growl:: if you die who will finish teaching me that idiotically ruled Vulcan chess game?"
As McCoy walked off, the Vulcan's eyes opened slightly.

Spock stood against the walls of the gym and stared at Leonard on the treadmill. The rhythmic thumps and pace seeped into his mind. The steadiness caused his to cast loose his anchor to the here and now. So lost was he, that he didn't even notice the Leonard had finished his workout until he went past. The rich thick scent hung around in the air and Spock followed, an eerie smile on his face.

He could see his prey, slim of figure and lean muscles. Moving stealthily he paced the pretty prey. He watched as the object of his pursuit walked out into the hallway. Strutting and showing himself off. A vibrant green fog rose in front of the predator's eyes. Growling softly, he followed. He didn't see others run from him. When he prey turned around, he hid. When his prey dropped something and kneeled to pick it up, a soft keen arose in his throat. A few feet from its air the prey stopped. The prey stood for a few moments, silent, thinking before it opened the entrance to its lair. He waited, he knew that 1.479 seconds after the prey entered its lair, it would start to clean itself. He knew that was the best time to sneak come up on the prey unawares. Striding over, he opened the door. He glanced around the lair, seeing a thrown towel, a sweat soaked shirt, a pair of gray shoes. Snarling, he crept to the edges of the bathing chamber. He entered, snarling. Slid into the warm heat. Seeing his prey under a spray of warm water; the moisture glistening on its flesh, the slick shiny soap slithering down its skin, it's brown fur turned black with wet. Slipping behind his prey, he sniffed the scent the warm air lifted. Wrapping one hand around its rib, he moaned. This was the moment. This was everything. Spock struck.
